auf diesem Wege möchten wir Sie darüber informieren, dass ab sofort die Einreichung von Anträgen zur Förderung von Pilotprojekten in 2026 unter dem Dach der One Health Platform (OHP) möglich ist.
Pilotprojekte sind abgrenzbare Einzelvorhaben mit einem hohen Maß an Originalität und wissenschaftlichem Risikocharakter. Sie sind richtungsweisend für neue Themen in der One Health-Forschung. Pilotprojekte basieren auf einer innovativen Hypothese, die überprüft werden soll, bevor basierend auf den Ergebnissen des Pilotprojektes, weitere Fördermittel außerhalb der OHP akquiriert werden können. Sie sollen demnach eine Anschubfinanzierung für darauf aufbauende Forschungsvorhaben der Antragstellenden darstellen. Pilotprojekte sind aus diesem Grund keine Weiterführung bereits begonnener Forschungsprojekte.
Pilotprojekte profitieren von der Vernetzung innerhalb der OHP und dem Austausch zwischen Fachgebieten und Institutionen. Die aus dem Projekt resultierende neue Methode oder wegweisende Erkenntnis sollen einen Mehrwert für die One Health-Forschung erreichen.
Die Projektdauer soll in der Regel zwölf Monate nicht übersteigen. Anträge bis zu 18 Monaten Laufzeit werden gestattet. Die Anträge dürfen nur eine:n Antragsteller:in haben und verfügen über einen definierten und plausiblen Zeit- und Finanzrahmen. Kooperationspartner:innen für bestimmte Arbeitspakete sind über Aufträge einzubinden. Richtwert für die maximal zu beantragende Summe (für 12 Monate): 120.000 Euro (die Summe muss nachvollziehbar durch Projektstruktur und Aufwand begründet werden). Bei einer Laufzeit von 18 Monaten ergibt sich eine maximale Antragssumme von 180.000 Euro. Hinzu kommt ggf. noch die Projektpauschale. Weitere Informationen zur Antragstellung finden Sie hier.

Thematisch müssen sich die Anträge an der Forschungsagenda der One Health Platform orientieren. Anträge aus dem Umweltbereich sind ausdrücklich erwünscht.
Antragsberechtigt sind alle Mitglieder der One Health Platform. Die Voraussetzungen für eine Mitgliedschaft sind in der Satzung der OHP festgelegt. Die Beantragung einer Mitgliedschaft ist kostenfrei und jederzeit möglich.
Das Ausschreibungsverfahren ist zweistufig. Nach formaler und inhaltlicher Prüfung durch die Geschäftsstelle und das Scientific Advisory Board (SAB) werden die bestplatzierten Anträge zur Sitzung des SAB zugelassen. Bei der Begutachtungssitzung des SABs stellt der/die Antragsteller:in das Projekt persönlich vor und beantwortet Fragen der Gutachter:innen.

Dear members of the One Health Platform, dear One Health researchers,
We would like to inform you that as of now, the submission of applications for the funding of pilot projects under the umbrella of the One Health Platform (OHP) is possible.
Pilot projects are individual projects with a high degree of originality and scientific risk character. They are trend-setting for new topics in One Health research. Pilot projects are based on an innovative hypothesis that is to be tested before, based on the results of the pilot project, further funding can be acquired outside the OHP. They are therefore intended to provide start-up funding for the applicant's subsequent research projects. For this reason, pilot projects are not a continuation of research projects that have already begun.
Pilot projects benefit from networking within the OHP and the exchange between disciplines and institutions. The new method or groundbreaking findings for One Health research resulting from the project are the added value for One Health research that arises from pilot projects.
As a rule, the project duration should not exceed twelve months. Applications of up to 18 months are permitted. Applications may only have one applicant and must have a defined and plausible time and financial framework. Cooperation partners for specific work packages must be involved via contracts. Guideline value for the maximum amount to be applied for (for 12 months): 120,000 euros (the amount must be comprehensibly justified by the project structure and expenditure). Thematically, applications must be oriented towards the research agenda of the One Health Platform. Applications from the environmental field are expressly welcome.
All members of the One Health Platform are eligible to apply. The requirements for membership are set out in the OHP statutes. Applying for membership is free of charge and possible at any time.
The application procedure is a two-stage process. After formal review and content review by the office and the Scientific Advisory Board (SAB), the best-placed applications are admitted to the SAB meeting. At the SAB review meeting, the applicant presents the project in person and answers questions from the reviewers.
